The rules for using Sentinel Core Vision lawfully and responsibly.

Last updated: July 1, 2026

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (the "Policy") describes what you may and may not do when you use Sentinel Core Vision, provided by Sentinel Core Vision, a sole proprietorship ("we", "us", "our"). Sentinel Core Vision is a real-time computer-vision desktop application with a local dashboard (the "Software"). This Policy exists to keep the Software safe, lawful, and reliable for everyone. It supplements, and does not replace, the Terms of Service and the End User License Agreement.

By downloading, installing, activating a license for, or using the Software, you agree to follow this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.

2. Permitted use

You may use the Software for lawful, personal, and authorized computer-vision purposes. In particular, you may use it:

  • on computers, devices, video sources, and systems that you own or are otherwise authorized to use;
  • to process video and imagery and other content that you own, have created, or have permission to process;
  • in a manner consistent with all applicable laws and regulations; and
  • in accordance with the terms of any third-party software, hardware, platform, or service you use the Software alongside.

The Software is a general-purpose, configurable computer-vision tool. You are responsible for how you use it and for the inputs and outputs you choose to process. You should confirm that your intended use is permitted before you begin.

3. Prohibited conduct

You must not use the Software, or allow anyone else to use it through your license, to do any of the following:

Unlawful or infringing activity

  • break any applicable law, regulation, or court order;
  • infringe or misappropriate the intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights of any person or organization;
  • process, capture, or analyze content, footage, or personal information that you have no right or permission to process.

Third-party terms

  • violate the terms of service, rules, or policies of any third-party software, application, platform, service, or hardware you use the Software with.

Security, licensing, and integrity

  • attempt to circumvent, disable, or defeat any security, licensing, activation, or usage-control mechanism in the Software or our services;
  • gain, or attempt to gain, unauthorized access to any account, system, network, or data;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or interfere with the Software except to the limited extent that applicable law expressly permits and cannot be waived by contract.

Resale and redistribution

  • resell, sublicense, rent, lend, distribute, or otherwise transfer the Software; or
  • share, publish, sell, or transfer your license key or account credentials to any other person.

Abusive, fraudulent, or harmful use

  • engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading activity, including chargeback abuse or payment fraud;
  • harass, threaten, defame, or harm others, or use the Software to facilitate harm;
  • introduce malware or otherwise attempt to disrupt, degrade, or overload the Software or our infrastructure.

4. Reporting misuse

If you become aware of any use of the Software that appears to violate this Policy, please tell us. Report it to [email protected], or reach us through our Discord. Please include enough detail for us to understand and review the issue. We review reports in good faith but do not guarantee any particular outcome or response time.

5. Consequences of violations

If you breach this Policy, we may take action consistent with our Terms of Service and applicable law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include issuing a warning, suspending or terminating your account or license, or declining to provide further access to the Software. Where the law requires it, we may also cooperate with legitimate legal requests.

We will use reasonable judgment and, where practicable, aim to act proportionately. Nothing in this Policy limits any other rights or remedies available to us under the Terms of Service or at law.

6. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Software after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Policy.
